Homemade anti-dandruff shampoo

No one wants to be embarrassed by the white flakes of dandruff spilling over their gorgeous black jacket. But how to get rid of dandruff seems like an unsolved mystery. This is largely because many of the so-called dandruff shampoos are full of chemicals and unhealthy ingredients. Fortunately, finding an anti-dandruff shampoo solution that works for you may not be as difficult as you might think if you’re willing to do it yourself. But first, let’s take a look at why shampoos work so you can make wise choices.

Dandruff problem ubiquitous

Despite numerous treatments medically known as pityriasis capitis or cheeborectic dermatitis limited to the scalp, It is a disease that has been going on for centuries. New anti-dandruff products are frequently on the market almost every day, perhaps due to the widespread increase in incidence. Why is it so difficult to combat this humiliating dandruff? Unfortunately, this scalp condition is quite common. Various studies conducted around the world have shown that the frequency of dandruff in the general population is as much as 50 percent.

Anti-dandruff shampoos

Choosing the right anti-dandruff shampoo is key. We know that most body and hair products have tons of toxic chemicals, and these cancer-causing chemicals can also be incredibly ineffective. It’s a little confusing that these toxic chemicals in shampoos are even allowed to hit the shelves knowing that they can adversely affect our hormones and cause illness. This is probably not surprising given the transformation of cosmetics into a $50 billion industry.

To avoid this seemingly uncontrollable situation, you can make your own anti-dandruff shampoo at home with just a few ingredients. Remember that dandruff comes from the scalp.

Anti-dandruff shampoo making

Let’s start with the mixing bowl and whisk. Combine coconut milk, coconut oil, and castile soap. Nutritionally rich coconut milk and coconut oil provide essential nourishment for your hair and scalp. This nutrition will help maintain the immune system as well as moisturize the hair and scalp.

Castile soap is a soft herbal soap that is biodegradable and non-toxic. Castile soap can help cleanse the scalp.

After mixing the coconut milk, coconut oil and castile soap well, add water, apple cider vinegar and baking soda. It’s a good idea to use purified water, such as an authentic spring water, to avoid chemicals. Apple cider vinegar is excellent for killing fungi and bacteria because it contains powerful enzymes. Baking soda can act as a fungicide, helping to shed dead skin due to its abrasive texture.

Now add rosemary and tea tree oil. Rosemary oil will provide good smell and much more. Because dandruff is caused by fungi, it is important to choose ingredients that can inhibit these fungi. So rosemary and tea tree oil would be a good pair.

And now we come to my favorite ingredient, fenugreek! Fenugreek is an herb that is mostly used as a spice. But fenugreek can do wonders for your hair and scalp. Fenugreek seeds have a composition rich in protein and amino acids. These nutrient-dense properties promote healthy hair, hair growth and can help get rid of dandruff. Fenugreek has a high concentration of lecithin, a natural emollient. This conditioner can help make hair stronger overall.

Make sure all ingredients are well mixed. Pour the mixture into a covered, shampoo-like container, you can use a glass jar if you prefer. To use, wet hair as you normally shampoo.
