Aiming to create perfumes that have never been smelled before by connecting scents, sounds, textures and colors, Maison Crivelli is at Oud Maracujá, the last representative of the slow perfume philosophy; It rethinks oud by comparing its depth and unique elegance to the bright passion fruit accord.
Oud Maracujá opens with a sparkling fruity accord with bright and exotic accents of passion fruit and black currant. The sparkle of the top notes is accentuated by saffron with a passionate spicy touch and fruity, honeyed, full-blown Turkish rose. The middle notes, defined by the power and complexity of the oud chord and its deep and captivating nuances, are enriched with the woody aspect of the oud and the earthy notes of Indonesian patchouli. The exceptional softness of benzoin from Laos adds to the multifaceted feel of the middle notes. The base notes of leather, incense, amber vanilla and labdanum accord strengthen the strength and permanence of the fragrance with a touch of akigala wood.
Created in collaboration with perfumer Jordi Fernandez, inspired by the personal event of brand founder Thibaud Crivelli, when he discovered oud and experienced a strong, surprising and intense shock to his senses, the perfume is addictive to those who smell it with the explosion of fruity top notes and the deep contrast in the darkness of oud.
