Decoration trends of the season with autumn colors

Perhaps one of the most defining features of autumn is its colors. This season, when nature is completely covered with yellow, orange, dark red and brown, is also reflected in the interiors. Interior Architect Eda Tahmaz, while analyzing the decoration trends of the season through autumn colors such as earth tones, green, yellow and orange, also states that houses inspired by rural life and the use of wood are among the most popular trends of the last period.

Add charm to your home

Emphasizing that decorations inspired by country houses and country style are on the rise together with the yellowing nature, Tahmaz, beige and expresses that a decoration to be created in brown tones is ideal for this look. It is possible to create a warm and friendly autumn atmosphere with wooden furniture that accompanies the beige color used on the walls and textile products in earth tones. In the designs, animal figures such as leopard, zebra and cow come to the fore. According to Tahmaz, who states that vibrant colors can also be used to add dynamism to the space, blue-gray, turquoise, green and red colors, when combined with earth tones, prevent a monotonous appearance consisting of only brown tones and add charm to the decoration.

Favorite of the season: Green

Stating that dark tones of green are one of the season’s favorites, the interior architect said that this is the case in wallpapers, sofa upholstery and textile products. He thinks that by making use of color, a more assertive look can be given to the decoration. Dark greens, which come to the fore with velvet fabric, especially in vintage furniture, attract the attention of decoration lovers even more this season. Stating that the most dynamic colors that will accompany this color are mustard yellow and orange tones, the interior architect also underlines that the effects of the return to the 70s in decoration will continue for many years to come. This effect can be further reinforced with furniture with curved lines, large geometric forms and checkered patterns adopted in accessories.
