Childhood clothes framed by actress Billur Kalkavan, who passed away recently, were donated for the benefit of the Turkish Cancer Society. The clothes were made of rare fabrics that her mother, who was a member of the Ottoman dynasty, kept.
Actress and presenter Billur Kalkavan had been receiving cancer treatment for a while. The 59-year-old actress succumbed to an infection in her body and died. Before his death, he had the clothes of Kalkavan that he wore as a child framed. The clothes, which were specially sewn from precious fabrics from the Ottoman Dynasty, were donated for the ‘Famous Objects Exhibition’, which was organized after the famous actress to draw attention to the work of the Turkish Cancer Society and raise awareness.
