Luxury French Chloé launches a special summer collection with swimwear brand Eres. The Chloé x Eres collection includes a range of essential beachwear inspired by the design codes of the French fashion house, including ready-to-wear, bags, shoes, glasses and hats.
Swimwear designs include one-piece swimsuits and bikinis designed by Chloé creative director Gabriela Hearst and Eres creative director Marie-Paule Minchelli. The swimsuits are made of ‘Peau Douce’, an innovative second skin material made from a castor oil-based polyamide created by Eres that combines flexibility, resistance, shape and comfort.

Highlights include the ‘Philippine’ swimsuit with shoulder flounces and the ‘Polynesia Palau’ bikini with Chloé’s characteristic winged silhouette, while the ‘Pacific’ swimsuit and ‘Papuasia Peru’ bikini are decorated with brode botanical motifs. The collaboration also includes a hardware reinterpretation by Eres of the ‘C’ emblem found on iconic Chloé bags like the Mate hobo; this creates sunray folds at the waist of the ‘Panama’ swimsuit and joins the two sides of the ‘Papeete Paraguay’ bikini top.

The collection also includes pieces that complete the swimsuit, such as an embroidered perforated linen skirt and shirt, leather sandals, sunglasses and an embroidered hat with recycled organic cotton canvas. There is also a ‘Palma’ tote bag in collaboration with Chloe and Eres, made in collaboration with Mifuko, a Kenya-based social enterprise that has partnered with Chloé for several seasons, with leather handles, removable pouches, ‘C’ hardware.
The range will be offered in classic black and brown hues, as well as Mediterranean inspired colors such as deep ‘Summer Night’ blue, ‘Iconic Milk’ white and ‘Red Mustard’ hue. An additional set of colors, the ‘Dark Honey’ yellow hue, will be available exclusively at Net-A-Porter.
