Dior, which manages to fascinate us with its New Year’s Eve campaigns every year, comes together with Anya Taylor Joy for the 2023 campaign to create an imaginary world. Welcome to the fairy-tale world of Dior!

Illuminated by the stars and lightly adorned with snowflakes, the chateau opens its doors to host a timeless dinner that reveals countless precious gifts and magical animals. In the world created by the Italian artist Pietro Ruffo; The stars dance among flamboyant animals and mythological figures in the heart of a rich and abundant wild flora.

“For this project, I pictured myself lying on the grass of Château La Colle Noire at night, looking north, admiring the constellations that seemed to dance in the sky around the North Star, Little Dipper, giraffe, lynx, Dragon, Hero, Cassiopeia,” said Ruffo. “I can smell the flowers around me, enchanted by this view: scents of violet, angelica, gardenia, jasmine, orange blossom, frangipani, magnolia, rose and myrtle – all these aromas illuminated by the constellations bring them to a new and magical life,” he added.

Anya Taylor-Joy, who first appeared in the Dior Holiday campaign, was featured in the movie directed by Benoit Delhomme. Transformed into the luminous host of the Dior Castle, Taylor-Joy invites a white wolf to the party, walking between Rouge Dior and Savuage as she dances between the fashion house’s iconic Miss Dior and J’Adore perfumes. In order to underline the New Year’s enthusiasm, everything seen in the movie was decorated with Pietro Ruffo’s gold patterns, and when they saw many Dior gifts, the cheerful fashion house friends, filled with curiosity, had a New Year’s dream come to life in this magical environment.

At the end of a long street surrounded by cypress trees, a magical place appears before our eyes. This place, which looks like Christian Dior’s castle, is envisioned as the floral paradise of the iconic couture designer, while flamboyant stars appear at the top. This timeless setting resonates with the past joys of Christian Dior’s numerous receptions for his friends. Dior proves once again to be a meeting place full of memories, where the importance of hospitality and generosity is fully demonstrated.

In addition to the campaign film, Parfums Christian Dior, who came together with the Korean 3D agency D’Strict, brings this magical Christmas house to the showcases of the boutiques. Transforming the showcases in selected boutiques into a world of dreams, Dior brings together digital technology and media art platforms. This digital art application, which can be visited on November 28 in Tokyo and New York, will be in Seoul from December 1. Not only that, Dior, together with Meta’s Spark application, turns this magical world created by Pietro Ruffo into a unique AR filter.
