H&M Move has signed with Nadia Nadim, one of the best players in women’s football, as the latest transfer. His career journey is an inspiring story that began when he had to flee Afghanistan as a child. Going from refugee status to international football star with over 100 matches for the Danish national team, Nadia speaks nine languages and is a Medical Doctor.
Nadia plays professional soccer for Racing Louisville FC in the United States National Women’s Soccer League today. She also represented Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain, where she won league titles. Nothing stopped Nadia from acting, as she hoped to get a new generation of talent to follow in her footsteps.
“I want to help inspire kids, especially young girls, to play. That’s why I signed up for H&M Move because I believe in their mission.” Says Nadia Nadim.
Another football legend, Zlatan Ibrahimović, welcomes Nadia to the H&M Move team.
Nadia and Zlatan appear in H&M Move’s new seamless collection, with body beautifying structures for a stronger stance. Nadia wears a seamless jumpsuit with an impressive knit construction that allows her to move effortlessly, while Zlatan wears a seamless jersey and men’s tights.
So, how was it for Nadia, who played alongside another football legend, Zlatan?
“Zlatan was a lot of fun. Maybe I’m looking forward to a rematch – plus we’ll get the whole world moving.” says Nadia.
This sentiment is echoed by Diana Amini, who leads the new H&M Move Community Programme. She says: “We are excited to welcome Nadia on our mission to showcase the many benefits the movement brings as an individual, community or team.” The movement not only provides collaborations like Zlatan and Nadia joining forces, but also tries to unite people and communities.
