SPECIAL CELEBRATION TO THE H&M MUGLER COLLECTION

H&M and Mugler celebrated the launch of their highly anticipated collections at New York’s Park Avenue Armory with a glamorous event covering entertainment, music, performances and fashion. Many people from the Mugler community including Pamela Anderson, Charli XCX, Chloë Sevigny, Lourdes Leon and Dominique Jackson attended the event, all wearing pieces from the Mugler H&M collection.

Musicians Shygirl, Amaarae and Eartheater, who also appeared in the Mugler H&M music video and wore special pieces from the new collection, performed at the event. To celebrate the Mugler H&M collection, the artists performed to the accompaniment of the ’90s club classic “Music Sounds Better With You” and their own hits, which were specially remastered.

The event continued with DJ and very special dance performances by Bobby Beethoven, Goth Jafar and Asmara, and ended with a podium show followed by an after party. The event served as a special curator that brought together sound, style, live performance, club culture and dance. From its establishment under Thierry Mugler to its current formation under Casey Cadwallader, the theatricality and ostentatiousness of the House of Mugler found their place in this event. At the event, which was attended by more than 800 guests, the sense of inclusivity and diversity at the heart of Mugler and H&M made itself felt throughout the night.
