Areda Survey searched for the answer of the question “Whether it is Turkish Döner or German Döner” with the simultaneous participation of 1,188 Turkish citizens in Turkey and Germany.
The Germans research, carried out by Areda Survey with the participation of 1,188 Turkish citizens simultaneously in Turkey and Germany, occupied the agenda and started the discussion of Turkish or German doner. The discussion turned into a gastronomic war with Vedat Milor’s statement “The probability of German doner being better than ours is zero, including the parallel universe.”
65.8′ OF ALAMANCI PREFER TURKISH DÖNER
According to the research, 65.8 percent of Germans prefer Turkish doner kebab and are on Vedat Milor’s side. Well, which gastronomy master is on the side of the 34.2 percent who prefer German doner? One of the indispensable discussions of family and relatives visits with the entry of Germans to the country, the choice of doner has been on the agenda of all of Turkey. Is German doner more delicious or Turkish doner? According to the research, 65.8 percent of Germans prefer Turkish doner, while 34.2 percent prefer German doner.
Methodology
This study was carried out with the participation of 1,188 Turkish citizens living in Turkey and Germany between 9 -14 August 2023 using the “Areda Survey’s Profile Based Digital Panel” with the CAWI technique in the quantitative research method.
