MATERIALS

250 grams of butter
2 eggs
2 tablespoons of sugar
2 tea glasses of semolina
3-3.5 cups of flour
1 packet of baking powder
1 packet of vanilla
zest of 1 orange
20 soft dates
1 teaspoon roasted sesame seeds

For the sherbet;

3 glasses of water
1 glass of orange juice
3.5 cups of sugar
1 teaspoon lemon juice

Start the recipe by first preparing the sherbet. Put water, sugar and orange juice in a deep pot, add lemon juice and boil. Once it starts to boil, you can set it aside to cool.

Then you can start the preparation of the dough dough. Remove the cores of the dates and pass them through the chopper. Then add the roasted sesame seeds and mix. Put it in the refrigerator to rest for a while.

Meanwhile, mix butter, sugar and eggs in a bowl.

Add the remaining ingredients and start kneading.
