LEBANON KUNAFE RECIPE:
For his kunefe;
400 grams of künefe cheese
300 grams of kadayif
5 tablespoons of butter
1 tablespoon of molasses
1 tablespoon of powdered pistachios
1 cup of granulated sugar
2 glasses of water
3-4 drops of lemon
First of all, start preparing the recipe with sherbet. Mix the water and sugar in a saucepan until it boils.
Then squeeze lemon juice into the syrup and set aside.
To prepare the dessert, pass the kadayifs through the robot. Add the melted butter to the kadaifs and add the syrup little by little and continue to pass through the robot.
When the kadaifs come to a paste-like consistency, set them aside and pour the oil into the pan.
Spread the molasses mixture, lay the kadaifs on top and press them firmly. Then add the grated cheese and start cooking it over low heat.
When the cheese melts and the kadaifs are browned, turn them over to a serving plate.
Pour syrup over it and slice. You can serve with powdered pistachios.
