MAPO TOFU RECIPE:

MATERIALS

250 grams of minced meat
1/2 cup of oil
6-8 dried red peppers
1-2 cloves of finely chopped garlic
3 tablespoons of ginger
1/2 tablespoon sichuan black pepper
1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
1 glass of chicken broth
1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
1/4 teaspoon sugar
1 onion (finely chopped)
1/4 cup water
1/2 tablespoon spicy bean sauce

FABRICATION

First, fry the peppers in a small saucepan. Heat for 5 minutes until the smell disappears. Be careful not to burn the peppers during this process. And put it aside

Take another pan and put oil in it. Heat over medium heat. Add ginger into it. After 1 minute, add garlic. After 1 minute, increase the heat and add the minced meat. Stir until the minced meat is cooked. Add the ground Sichuan peppercorns and stir for about 15-30 seconds, taking care not to burn the peppers at this stage.

Add the spicy bean sauce to the mixture and mix well. Add chicken broth and continue mixing. Let it boil for a few minutes at this stage.

At this stage, prepare your tofu and add water and corn starch to a small bowl.

Add the corn mixture into your sauce and mix.

Let it bubble until the sauce begins to thicken.

Then add the previously fried pepper. And slowly add the tofu you prepared. Let it cook for 3-5 minutes during this time.

And you can consume it ready to serve after 5 minutes.
