Slimming Cabbage Soup

Filled with cabbage, carrots, bell peppers, tomatoes, and lots of seasoning, this healthy slimming cabbage soup recipe packs a lot of flavor and is immensely satisfying. If you want to boost the flavor factor even more, add some cheese or avocado on top.

There are many cabbage soup diet recipes and they all have one (obvious) ingredient in common: cabbage. Cabbage is low in calories and offers plenty of fiber, which can help you stay full and feel full.

Slimming Cabbage Soup Recipe

Materials:

  • 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 medium carrots, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon ground pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 8 glasses of water (you can put broth)
  • 1 medium head of kale, halved and sliced
  • 1 large tomato, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons of white vinegar

Fabrication:

Stage 1
Heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add onions, carrots and celery. Cook, stirring, for 6 to 8 minutes, until the vegetables are tender. Add the bell pepper, garlic, Italian seasoning, black pepper and salt and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes.

Add broth, cabbage and tomatoes; Increase the heat to medium-high and bring to a boil. To continue simmering, reduce heat, partially cover, and simmer for another 15 to 20 minutes, until all vegetables are tender. Remove from heat and mix with vinegar.
