The 76th Cannes Film Festival begins on May 16, 2023. Official partner of the festival for 26 years, Chopard, on the initiative of Chopard Artistic Director and Co-President Caroline Scheufele, presents the Trophée Chopard award to new talents and celebrates the promising beginnings of the two actors’ film careers since 2001.
Trophée Chopard, a prestigious award, in international cinema, Marion Cotillard (Oscar for Best Actress in 2008), Diane Kruger (Best Actress Award at Cannes in 2017), Léa Seydoux (Palm Golden in 2013), Florence Awarded to rising stars like Pugh, Niels Schneider, Jeremy Irvine, and Joe Alwyn.
This year, world-renowned Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman will be the godmother of Trophée Chopard at the 76th Cannes Film Festival. Natalie Portman will present the Trophée Chopard awards to the two selected winners.
The 2023 Trophée Chopard award will be presented on 19 May during the 76th Cannes Festival at a prestigious dinner dedicated to the theme of skill transfer at the invitation of Iris Knobloch, Thierry Frémaux and Caroline Scheufele. The two award winners will be chosen by votes from the Académie du Trophée Chopard, which consists of the winners as well as the godparents and godmothers of previous editions.
