FENDI is pleased to announce the opening of its new temporary store located in the Marina district of Ibiza, Spain’s famous Balearic Island. Combining the natural elements of Ibiza with the iconic traces of FENDI, the store takes its place as an impressive stopping point for fashion lovers during the summer.

The 60 square meter pop-up store, where the Women’s and Men’s Astrology Summer Capsule Collection 2023 will be exhibited, is characterized by a holiday mood and bright colors. The white façade features large and airy windows that create a dialogue between indoor and outdoor spaces. At the entrance, the guests are greeted by a typical summer pattern embroidered with stripes of different sizes and colors, beige nuances on the floor, and red and white on the walls and curtains.

Iconic FENDI codes are reinterpreted with a resort vibe and represent the inspiration that makes the temporary store unique. Natural materials are strongly present throughout the space; wood, in particular, appears in various tones and in different types to evoke the unique FENDI Pequin strip.

FENDI also introduces its Astrology capsule collection for summer 2023: a collection of swimming and beachwear for every sign under the sun. Drawing on iconic collections from the archives of Evin, Spring/Summer 1990 and Spring/Summer 1993, as well as the basic codes created by Couture and Women’s Clothing Art Director Kim Jones, these designs are a reflection of FENDI’s past and present for the summer.

Summer versions of FENDI symbols are also displayed inside the temporary store. Meticulous astrological embroidery adorns seasonal iterations of the iconic Peekaboo and Baguette bags, as well as the FENDI First, whose zodiac expressions come with colorful threads and pearls sewn into denim, canvas and jacquard bodies. A bold new canvas Peekaboo, printed with Karl Lagerfeld’s zodiac illustrations and finished with Selleria stitch, fully embodies the inspirations of the capsule. Elsewhere, straw, canvas and denim are becoming staples: woven into the stems of straw bags, knitted into Peekaboo bags or used for a fringe effect in FENDI First.
