“Rowling’s stories in each of the Harry Potter books will become a decade-old series produced with the same epic craft, love, and care for which this internationally popular series is known,” Zaslav said in an announcement Wednesday morning, adding that the new series will be released on the “Max” of HBO Max and Discovery+ platforms.
