Longines’ HydroConquest series, this iconic collection launched in 2007, is being expanded with new models that, for the first time, include the GMT movement. This feature allows two different time zones to be displayed simultaneously on the watch. There is a rich heritage behind this function: Longines brought this feature to its wristwatches as far back as 1925.
The HydroConquest GMT combines this useful feature for all travelers with the underwater sports it inspires. Aimed at the modern-day explorer-adventurers and athletic men and women who push the limits, this collection will accompany them wherever they go.
The HydroConquest GMT also stands out with its new unidirectional, notched ceramic bezel equipped with a luminescent capsule and screw-down crown. Satin and polished surface options add refinement and elegance to these new models. The green, brown, black and blue daylight dials are enhanced with a two-tone 24-hour display. The gilded or silver-polished hands and hour markers are easy to read in all conditions thanks to the Super-LumiNova® coating. It has round shapes at 6 and 9 o’clock and triangular shapes at 12 o’clock. There is a date display at the 3 o’clock position. The arrow-shaped GMT indicator matches the color of the dial stickers.
Offering water resistance to thirty bar (300 metres), HydroConquest GMT models are equipped with a stainless steel bracelet that stands out with its completely redesigned H-shaped links. In addition, the micro-adjustable buckle is a first for Longines. Complementing the colors of the dials, these new watches are also available on a blue or black rubber strap with a micro-adjustable folding clasp for perfect fit and comfort. NATO strap options are also available in khaki green or beige.
