A study conducted for the 1-7 October Breastfeeding Week revealed how many months Turkish people breastfeed their babies. Our mothers, who are ashamed and shy outdoors, still want to find a suitable place and feed their baby on an empty stomach.
The issue of baby and motherhood is a very sensitive issue in Turkey. If there is no obstacle, not all of our mothers refuse to breastfeed their children. As a result of the test, which was announced that mothers usually give formula abroad, it is desired to raise babies together in the best way, since we are a maternal society. Turkish people, who know that breast milk is healthy for both the baby and the mother, have been announced that they breastfeed their babies up to 17 months.
17 MONTHS BABY BREASTFEEDING COUNTRY!
Due to the fact that last week was Breastfeeding Week, it was stated that 1,448 mothers from Turkey participated in the research they conducted with 6 thousand mothers in 25 countries, which was carried out through Philips Avent applications. In the study, which announced that the access to breast milk in our country is 96.5%, it has been proven that mothers are definitely in favor of breastfeeding their babies. It was stated that the average breastfeeding period was about 17 months until the milk decreased and stopped.
BREASTFEEDING ROOMS SHOULD BE INCREASED
She stated that the mothers who are against breastfeeding are not able to breastfeed intensively, but if their spouses help, they can breastfeed and take care of the baby. Mothers who demanded the increase of breastfeeding areas everywhere, and instead of looking for wells to feed their children, there was a reproach that breastfeeding rooms would become widespread and that their babies would be able to feed their babies there.
